Shantanu Naidu said that while he was crossing the road, he saw many dogs killed by speeding vehicles. Shantanu Naidu took a step to prevent dogs from being hit by vehicles. Accordingly, he made collars for the dogs and put them on. So he made the collar light up so that he could see the dogs even at night. Shantanu Naidu wrote a letter to ratan tata seeking investment support for his idea. To his surprise, he replied that Naidu could come and meet him and talk about business. A meeting between two dog lovers landed Naidu a job. Naidu joined ratan tata as his assistant. He was appointed General Manager by Ratan Tata. Naidu subsequently launched a startup to help senior citizens. The market value of the company is Rs.5 crores. Shantanu Naidu also runs a start-up company that manufactures collars for dogs. ratan tata gave him the capital for it.
