Due to some staggering early trends, it was expected that Megastar Chiranjeevi's magnum opus 'Sye Raa' will collect more than 1 Milion dollars from Premieres alone. At one point, trade circles predicted an easy 1.3 million dollars gross for the premieres but the result is something that is not expected.

#SyeRaa collected $857,765 (6.16 cr) from 308 locations as per trade reports coming from the overseas. If we look at the Top 5 Premiere Gross at the USA box office, we have Baahubali 2 ($ 2.4 Million), Agnyaatavasi ($1.5M), Baahubali 1 (1.36M), Khaidi No 150 (1.29M) and Spyder (1 Million) in the club, and many expected that Megastar will break his own record now. But somehow it didn't work.

Recently, after collecting $ 915K from premieres, a super hyped and well-promoted film like Saaho failed to cut into the one million club. On that note, we should say that Sye Raa did well, but better promotions would have helped to enter the might club.

Also, there is a factor that USA market is turning dull these days as films with top ratings and reviews are also not getting any decent collections.
