Lagaan this movie might have brought a different craze among the cricket fans in those days.  The film starring aamir khan was his first film to produce that was not at all prepared for being the actor for the same he revealed this in an interview. But his acting in the movie amused the fans. The movie was released exactly 20 years ago in 2001 Jun 15 which was also shortlisted for oscar.

Many big directors and producers warned Aamir not to take a risk but instead, he stood on his stand which resulted in great success for him. The movie was awarded with eight National Film Awards and was also nominated for the best Foreign language film.  The film also gave us some amazing songs that are still on the list of classical hits.

The goodachari fame adivi sesh also tweeted on the film and expressed his views in the tweet. aamir khan on the work front is currently working on the movie Laal Singh Chaddha. aamir khan has been absent from the silver screen for a long time is expected to release his next movie as soon as the pandemic slows down.
