Prime Video, India's most popular entertainment site, has announced the release date of Dhootha, a supernatural suspense-thriller, in Telugu. Dhootha, directed by vikram K. Kumar and produced by sharrath marar under the banner of NorthStar Entertainment Pvt. Ltd., marks naga chaitanya Akkineni's streaming debut, as Sagar, an ambitious and successful journalist who finds himself engulfed by supernatural events that are at the nexus of many mysterious and gruesome deaths and are now casting a shadow over his family.

An eclectic ensemble cast, including Parvathy Thiruvothu, priya Bhavani Shankar, and Prachi Desai, plays crucial parts in the eight-episode series. On december 1, the suspense drama will be available exclusively on Prime Video in india and more than 240 countries and territories globally. Dhootha is the newest member of the Prime membership.
