Ramya Krishnan was not the first choice in Padaiyappa..!?

KS Ravikumar, the director of the film, has told the information about the actress who was the first to act in the role of Neelambari in this film, which is the biggest turning point in ramya Krishnan's film career.  Regarding this, he said, 'Actress meena was the first to commit to playing the role of Neelambari in Padayappa, but her innocent face did not suit the role of Neelambari. So he decided to cast ramya krishna in the film. So, there was an idea to cast meena in the role of Vasundhara, and at that time negotiations were going on with Simran, but due to circumstances, both of them could not act in the film. After this, soundarya said that she had signed a contract to play the role of Vasundhara.
