Anirudh Ravichander is a name that is changing in the South film industry. From Superstar Rajinikanth to Siva Karthikeyan, he is a name that is being heard recently. Any film, any language in South, if there is a discussion about a music director, Anirudh has to be there. Anirudh has been in huge demand since Kamal's `Vikram`. The main reason for this is the background score he provided for it. Anirudh's BGMs played a major role in making Superstar Rajinikanth's `Jailer` a blockbuster. `Jailer` became a blockbuster hit and earned Rs. 500 crores at the box office. With this, every hero is now chanting his name. On the one hand, music directors like Devi Sri Prasad, Thaman, and Santosh Narayanan are in line, but the hero wants Anirudh the most.
Anirudh has created a huge demand for him in the South as he provides diverse music in the background score and songs. With this, it has now become a hot topic that Anirudh is demanding a record amount for each film, as per his demand. Anirudh is demanding a whopping Rs. 15 crores for each film. With producers also saying yes to this, Anirudh is the first music director in the country to take remuneration at this level. There is a huge demand for the audio rights of each film that Anirudh is making. The audio rights of each film are being sold for a total of Rs. 18 crores. Currently, Anirudh has many crazy projects in his hands. Along with Rajinikanth's `Jailer 2` and Coolie, Anirudh is providing music for films like Kingdom, The Paradise, Jana Nayagan, Madarasi and pradeep Ranganathan's `Love Insurance Company`. Of these, he demanded Rs. 15 crores for Nani's `The Paradise`. However, it is noteworthy that after getting Rs. 18 crores for the audio rights, they have already recovered their investment and made another profit of three crores.
