After the expected gain from TDP and YSRCP in case Telangana is halted, BJP still went ahead with its decision not to block Telangana even though it had an excuse to blame Congress party in case Telangana failed. Even when big bosses of BJP like Advani, Venkaiah and Modi spoke against the Telangana bill being introduced and Sushma Swaraj saying that T-bill was introduced undemocratically; finally BJP came forward to support Telangana which came as a shock to many Telugus. Though BJP leaders have given commitment coloring to this decision, sources say that it is RSS which has firmly told BJP to wholeheartedly support Telangana bill. With more than 12 percent Muslims in Telangana, RSS has dictated a long-term agenda for BJP. RSS reportedly plans to fish in troubled waters due to some political vacuum expected in Telangana and since MIM will now be fully localized in this region, RSS wants BJP to tackle head on in this region and wants to use this new state as an experimental ground for starting its Hindutva Agenda in South India.
