Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has reportedly decided to move from 7, Race Course Road to 3, Motilal Nehru Marg, which was till now the official residence of former Delhi chief minister Sheila Dikshit.
The bungalow which is now in Motilal Nehru Marg was officially considered for Singh's accommodation after he demits the PM's office. But it appears that Manmohan seems to have made up his mind to vacate early.
Usually it is a habit such that whenever elections are over, till the new government is formed the incumbent PM will hold the official residence but there seems to be in a hurry this when it comes to choosing best options to accommodate Manmohan Singh.
But this time the PM has already decided and will be leaving his official residence sooner and the rivals of Congress party are quick to point out that this indicates the PM has no confidence Congress will come back to power again!
