Violence - elections will be held again on these booths..?


The election commission has taken cognizance of the incidents of violence in the panchayat elections in West Bengal. The election commission has ordered re-polling at 604 booths. The bharatiya janata party (BJP) is continuously blaming the State election commission and the mamta government for the violence. While the trinamool congress has raised questions about the central force.

After the violence in the bengal panchayat elections, on Sunday, the election commission decided that there will be re-polling in 604 booths of Bengal. For this, votes will be cast on monday i.e. July 10. Significantly, on July 8, voting was held for 74 thousand panchayats. During this there was a lot of violence. Incidents of fighting, booth looting and arson came to the fore at many polling booths.

Purulia, Birbhum, Jalpaiguri and South 24 Parganas of West bengal are included. For information, let us tell you that after visiting the State election commission office, West bengal leader of Opposition Shubhendu Adhikari had expressed grief over the violence. He said that democracy has been destroyed. We demanded checking of CCTV cameras and re-polling in those areas. Where violence has taken place and CCTV cameras were not working.
