BJP using Law Commission - The National Law Commission had sought opinion from political parties, religious organizations and the people of the country regarding the Uniform Civil Code. Owaisi attacked the Center regarding this and accused the Law Commission of misuse. He said, on june 14, 2023, the Law Commission had asked people and parties to give their views (on UCC), regarding which we have sent a letter on behalf of our party. I have said that the Law Commission should tell what is UCC? Owaisi said, it is a matter of great coincidence that even in 2018, Modi ji started talking about UCC because there were elections in 2019 and now there are elections in 2024, so he started again.
