In light of the predicted severe rains in telangana over the next 48 hours, telangana DGP Anjani Kumar met with police officers from all over the State. In order to avert loss of life and property, the DGP gave orders to all Commissioners and Superintendents of police (SPs) to be vigilant and to ask their subordinates to locate any low-lying areas and to take appropriate action in collaboration with local authorities. 

Anjani Kumar requested that no one be allowed near irrigation projects, rivers, tanks, ponds, or other sources of water. He requested that anybody needing assistance dial 100 to reach the police. Anjani Kumar, the DGP for telangana, hosted an interstate DGP seminar on left-wing extremism on tuesday in Hyderabad.  Senior representatives from many States took part in the summit. Rajnish Seth, the DGP for Maharashtra, ashok Juneja, the DGP for Chattisgarh, Rajender Reddy, the DGP for Andhra Pradesh, Charu Sinha, the IG for the CRPF, and senior members of the Intelligence Bureau were among those present at the meeting.

Information exchange, collaborative training, and cooperative operations were highlighted throughout the discussion. Other telangana police officers including Anil Kumar Additional DG Intelligence also took part.
