The pakistan cricket squad landed on wednesday evening at hyderabad Airport under heavy security to take part in the ICC ODI world cup, which starts on october 5. The squad, led by captain Babar Azam, arrived in the city after departing from dubai for their first trip to india in seven years. The players and support personnel boarded a private bus after landing at rajiv gandhi International Airport, where they checked into a prestigious hotel in the city.

A video of the Pakistani team's arrival at hyderabad Airport was shared by many online users at the same time, who claimed they were met by 'Murdabad' chants. However, it was later discovered that the footage had been altered. In fact, when the crew arrived at hyderabad Airport, they were greeted with open arms.
