IAS Officers Transfer: According to the information released by the tamil Nadu government, 12 IAS officers, including six district collectors, have been transferred.

It is usual for the state government to transfer IAS and IPS officers once or twice every few years for various reasons. In this case, the tamil Nadu government has issued an order to transfer 12 IAS officers.

In particular, new collectors have been appointed for six districts including Tirupattur, Tiruvannamalai, Salem, tenkasi, Chengalpattu and Vellore. The tamil Nadu government has also issued an order for this. According to this, Bhaskara Pandian has been appointed as the new collector of Tiruvannamalai district.

Salem district collector R Brinda Devi, Tirupattur district collector Darbharaj, Chengalpattu district collector Arunraj and tenkasi district collector Kamal Kishor have been appointed. Similarly, Subbulakshmi has been appointed as the new collector of Vellore district.

Apart from these changes, Murugesh, who was already working as Tiruvannamalai collector, has now been transferred as director of Agriculture Department. Similarly, Vellore collector Kumaravel Pandian has been transferred as director of Horticulture and tenkasi district collector Ravichandran as Deputy Secretary of Higher Education.

The decision is said to have been taken after the central government advised against the transfer of IAS officers who have held the same post for more than three years in the run-up to the lok sabha elections.
