In this situation, the bjp has again given the constituency to Maneka gandhi who is the Sultanpur mp of Uttar Pradesh in the upcoming lok sabha elections. But varun gandhi has been denied the Philpit constituency. Run's name did not appear in the BJP's list of fifty candidates. The bjp has announced the name of Uttar Pradesh state minister Jitin prasad as his replacement in the Philipith constituency.

In it, varun gandhi mentioned that he is writing this letter with innumerable emotional memories, recalling the first time he came to Philpit when he was a three-year-old boy holding his mother's fingers.

At that time, I did not think that I would work for this constituency or that the people of this constituency would become my family. varun gandhi also said that he considered the post.

“Philpith's parliamentary term may come to an end. But my relationship with the people of the block will not end till the last breath. I will serve you for life as your son, though not as an MP. My doors are always open for you.” varun gandhi said in that letter.

Even though varun gandhi was not the bjp candidate, it was expected that he would contest as an independent. But as the filing of nominations for the Bilpith constituency ended yesterday, varun gandhi has put an end to that speculation.
