Her biggest identity is that her husband Jaimangal Singh alias Anup Singh is a congress mla from Bermo seat of Bokaro district. After his death in May 2000, his sons Jaimangal Singh and Kumar Gaurav took over his political legacy. However, Rajendra Singh had entered both his sons into politics while he was alive. After his death, his elder son Jaimangal Singh was elected mla in the by-election held on the Bermo seat. Rajendra Singh's younger son Kumar Gaurav has been the President of the jharkhand State youth congress and is currently the Chairman of the State youth Commission.
