Congress has fielded such a face from the dhanbad seat of jharkhand, who has not been directly associated with active politics till now, the name is Anupama Singh. Her biggest identity is that her husband Jaimangal Singh alias Anup Singh is a congress mla from Bermo seat of Bokaro district. Interestingly, apart from many veterans, Anupama's brother-in-law and youth congress leader Kumar Gaurav was also involved in the race for the ticket on this seat.

Jharkhand Pradesh congress had put forward Kumar Gaurav's name for candidature. But, the lobbying of Anupama's mla husband proved to be the strongest. Anupama Singh may not have any personal identity in politics, but she belongs to the famous political family of Koyalanchal. His late father-in-law Rajendra Singh was a six-time mla from the Bermo seat. He was the National General Secretary of Congress's affiliated labor organization INTUC for decades and because of this, he was recognized as a trade union leader at the all-India level.

Jaimangal Singh had won the by-election

After his death in May 2000, his sons Jaimangal Singh and Kumar Gaurav took over his political legacy. However, Rajendra Singh had entered both his sons into politics while he was alive. After his death, his elder son Jaimangal Singh was elected mla in the by-election held on the Bermo seat. Rajendra Singh's younger son Kumar Gaurav has been the President of the jharkhand State youth congress and is currently the Chairman of the State youth Commission.

This family has been discussed all over jharkhand due to its political influence and money. This is the first time that the daughter-in-law of the family has directly entered politics as an mp candidate. At present, he does not even have any official account on social media. Anupama Singh's father is a doctor and is posted as a civil surgeon in a district of Bihar. It is said that she has taken graduation degree in Political Science from patna Women's College.
