Prime minister Narendra Modi chaired the 10th niti aayog Governing Council meeting on saturday (May 24, 2025) on the topic 'Developed States for Developed india 2047'. prime minister Narendra Modi asked the Chief Ministers of all the states in the niti aayog meeting to make every state a global tourist destination.
Prime minister Narendra Modi said during the meeting, 'India is rapidly urbanizing. We should work towards preparing cities for the future. Development, innovation, and sustainability should be the engines of growth of our cities.' He talked about 'One State, One Global Destination' in this meeting.
When people feel the change, only then does the change become strong- PM
At the 10th Governing Council meeting, prime minister Modi said, "We should work in such a way that the implementation of our policies brings real change in the lives of common citizens. When people feel that change, only then that change becomes strong and turns into a mass movement. We have a great opportunity as a team to fulfill the aspirations of 140 crore countrymen."
Our goal is to make india developed by 2047
He said, "We have to focus on one goal. Our goal should be to make a developed india by 2047, every state should be developed, every city should be developed, every municipality should be developed and every village should be developed. If we work in this direction, then we will not have to wait till 2047 to become a developed India."
PM Modi spoke on the issue of increasing the role of women
PM Modi also talked about the issue of increasing the role of women in the workforce. He said, "We should work towards including women in our workforce. We should make laws and policies that can include them in the workforce with respect."
