Manifesto Release Date and Location


The Mahagathbandhan (Grand Alliance) is set to release its joint election manifesto on october 28 in Patna.


The release will mark the beginning of the alliance’s full-scale campaign for the bihar Assembly Elections.

Congress leader Rahul gandhi and RJD’s Tejashwi Yadav will jointly address a series of rallies across bihar before the first phase of voting.


Both leaders will also campaign together for constituencies going to the polls in the second phase.

Congress Campaign to Begin After Chhath


The congress party will officially launch its campaign after the Chhath Puja festival, starting october 28.


Priyanka gandhi Vadra and mallikarjun Kharge are expected to spearhead the campaign, highlighting issues like inflation, unemployment, and farmers’ welfare.


Tejashwi Yadav Named cm Candidate


The opposition india bloc on thursday declared Tejashwi Yadav as its Chief Ministerial candidate for Bihar.


The decision followed weeks of internal negotiations within the alliance.


The announcement was made by congress senior leader Ashok Gehlot, who played a key role in resolving disputes among partners.


Power-Sharing and Social Representation


Gehlot stated that the Mahagathbandhan’s leadership model would reflect Bihar’s social diversity.


Mukesh Sahni, chief of the Vikassheel Insan party (VIP), along with leaders from other communities, will be appointed Deputy Chief Ministers if the alliance forms the government.


The move aims to ensure inclusive representation and balance across caste and regional lines.
