Boxer monica Negi of Panel village of Nankhari tehsil has brought laurels to the state and the country by winning a gold medal in the international boxing competition held in Birmingham, USA.


Boxer monica Negi of Panel village of Nankhari tehsil of Shimla district has brought laurels to the state and the country by winning a gold medal in the international boxing competition held in Birmingham, USA.The World police Games 2025 were organized in Birmingham from 26 June to 6 July She participated in the competition on behalf of the indian police team of the All india police sports Control Board.

The World police Games 2025 were organized in Birmingham from 26 June to 6 July. In the final of the 81 kg category of boxing, monica defeated the boxer of USAGE 5-0. monica Negi is working in the Indo-Tibetan Border police Force.Monica defeated the boxer .


Monica Negi has earlier also brought laurels to Rampur and Himachal by winning many medals in boxing. She has represented Himachal several times at the national level in boxing. Monika Negi has secured third position at the national level twice and has also won a bronze medal in the All india University Boxing championship held at Jalandhar, Punjab.
