What are the preparations for the mock drill in Gorakhpur?
A mock drill will be organized by Civil Defence in Gorakhpur on 7 May. people will be told about safety measures in the mock drill. Volunteers will tell what to do in case of an attack or emergency. The siren which sounds before an emergency will also be tested. Sirens will be tested for protection from air raids, mock drills, training, evacuation plan, and giving information about air raids.
The Civil Defence Corps will have coordination with air Force, Medical Department, fire Department and other departments. Training will be given to Civil Defence Wardens and students and teachers of the school at Saraswati vidya Mandir Aryanagar at 7 am, MSI Inter college at 10 am, Evacuation Plan Gallant Landmark Vijay Chowk at 1 pm, and to businessmen and general citizens at Baldev Plaza Golghar at 2 pm.
Apart from this, a blackout mock drill will be conducted at the Annexe building near Digvijaynath Park between 6.30 pm and 8.30 pm. Information was given to agencies, air Force, Civil Defence, home Guards, fire, Medical Department, Transport Department, police Department, electricity Department and all Officers Commanding.
