
Shares of Suzlon Energy, a major renewable sector company, saw a rise on Friday, the last trading day of the week. On june 20, the share price rose by about 3 percent to a high of Rs 64.26 per share. The reason behind this rise in shares today is an order received by the company, which ended the three-day decline in the shares.
Suzlon gets a big order from AMPIN
Suzlon said that the company has received a 170.1 MW wind power project in Kurnool, andhra pradesh from AMPIN Energy Transition. This is the third project received by the company from AMPIN. Under this order, Suzlon will have to supply its 54 advanced S144 wind turbine generators (WTG) with hybrid lattice towers (HLT). Each of these has a capacity of 3.15 MW. Under this project, Suzlon will have to handle the work from supply of equipment to their installation, commissioning, operation and long term maintenance.
The company completed the delivery of 1.55 GW in FY25
In the fourth quarter of Fy25, the company achieved a record delivery of 573 MW. With this, their total delivery in FY 2025 reached 1.55 GW. The company's order book also reached an all-time high record of 5.6 GW. The supply of S144 wind turbine generator alone crossed 5 GW. With this, its position as a market leader in the indian market has been strengthened. The company has completed the work of nacelle expansion in the units of Daman and pondicherry along with 10 new production facilities for more production of its S144–3.X MW series. Suzlon intends to continue investing in its local manufacturing and supply chain ecosystem to support India's goal of strengthening its wind energy capacity.

The situation is such that Suzlon's shares have seen a rise of 25 percent in the last one year and 340 percent in two years. Due to this, the number of its retail investors has also increased to more than 56 lakh. Between May 9 and May 30, the share price increased from Rs 52.60 to Rs 71.50. It registered a gain of up to 36 percent in just 16 trading sessions. Suzlon Energy's net profit for FY25 increased from Rs 660 crore in FY24 to Rs 2,072 crore.
