Pongal gift set token is ready..! people in shock..!?

Every year on the occasion of the pongal festival, a pongal collection including rice, cashews, and whole sugarcane is given. But as the people were affected by the floods in tamil Nadu, the people of that area had to be given compensation. Also, the central government has not yet allocated funds to tamil Nadu for flood damage. Due to this, the tamil Nadu government has a financial deficit.
In this situation, the tamil Nadu government has issued an ordinance regarding pongal gift collection. It has been announced that on the day of tamil pongal 2024, rice family card holders and families living in Sri Lankan tamil resettlement camps will be given 1 kg of raw rice, 1 kg of sugar, and whole sugarcane each in the pongal gift package. It had announced that approximately Rs 238 crore 92 lahks 72 thousand rupees would be spent in case of providing 2,19,57,402 family card holders. But the announcement of one thousand rupees as pongal prize money was not released. Following this, a request was made to give pongal prize amounts ranging from 2000 to 5000 rupees on behalf of political parties.
But no decision has been taken on behalf of the tamil Nadu government regarding the prize package of one thousand rupees for Pongal. In this case, a token has been prepared for the distribution of a pongal gift package of rice, sugar, and whole sugarcane. These tokens will be distributed to the public through ration shops. On the occasion of the pongal festival, the prize money of one thousand rupees shocked the public.
