Do not go to these 7 provinces
The Tourism Authority of thailand (TAT) and the indian Embassy have declared these 7 provinces as risky and have asked to avoid traveling there. These include - Ubon Ratchathani, Surin, Sisaket, Buriram, Sa Kaeo, Chanthaburi, and Trat.
TAT has also posted on X that due to the ongoing unrest on the Thai-Cambodia border, many tourist destinations in these 7 provinces are no longer suitable for travel.
High-tension zone evacuated
Tension is very high in the 40-km area along the border. Residents from these areas have been sent to safer places. The roads in Ubon Ratchathani's Nam Yuen district now appear deserted. The movement of people has reduced considerably. Given the ongoing clashes near the border, the Thai army has appealed to people not to go there.

Thailand on friday expressed its willingness to agree to diplomatic talks with cambodia or a ceasefire brokered by Malaysia. "We are ready if cambodia seeks a solution through diplomatic channels or Malaysia's mediation. But so far we have not received any response," Thai Foreign Ministry spokesman Nikorandej said.
