According to sources, the government has changed document restrictions under the PM-KISAN Scheme to combat fraud, and ration cards are now required.

To take advantage of the PM-KISAN Scheme, the authorities have made the ration card a requirement. Farmers who are qualified for the PM-KISAN initiative must immediately provide their ration card information, including card number and soft copies. On the PM-KISAN site, these papers must be uploaded together with an authentic softcopy of the aadhar card, account passbook, as well as declaration form. Log on to the pmkisan.gov.in portal to see if you are ready for the PM-KISAN program based on your name.

Eligible farmers get a yearly financial support of Rs 6,000 in three instalments, with the third tranche of PM-KISAN set to be released on Dec 15 this year, according to sources. You may also use the PM Kisan smartphone app to look for your name.
