OTT: Before Netflix's 'Monica O My Darling', take the original 'Monica', this OTT, shooting will start next month
OTT Netflix may be very happy about the buzz the name of its next original film 'Monica O My Darling' has got, but the real heroine of this original song has taken another OTT. Yes, actress helen, who was a famous item dancer of her time, has finally approved of her OTT debut. The story which helen has okayed after discussing with her husband Salim Khan is going to turn into a suspense thriller.
The series also stars karisma kapoor, who made her flop debut on OTT two years ago with Alt Balaji's web series 'Mentalhull'.
 Apart from appearing in the film 'Hum dil De Chuke Sanam' with salman khan, helen also worked in many other films in the last decade. His last appearance on the silver screen is considered to be in Madhur Bhandarkar's film 'Heroine'. The heroine of this film was kareena kapoor and now her elder sister karisma kapoor is going to get a chance to work with helen in this new web series, the shooting of which is going to start next month. According to the information, this series starring helen and karisma kapoor in the lead roles has been approved for OTT G5 and director abhinay Dev is going to take over its direction. Renowned actor Ramesh Dev's son abhinay Dev first came into the limelight when aamir khan signed him for his nephew Imran Khan's debut film 'Delhi Belly'.Abhinay Dev then took over the command of both the seasons of the tv series '24' and also got a lot of buzz with films like 'Force 2' and 'Blackmail'. He is also making a film based on cricket 'Doosra' these days. The name of the series on which abhinay Dev has started work for Zee5 involving helen and karisma kapoor is yet to be finalized. But, it is said that this is a suspense drama in which a woman with a very strong liver gets caught in a heart-wrenching situation.ZEE5 has tried to make a lot of changes in its entertainment content in recent times but big production houses like Applause Entertainment are selling series to ZEE5 which no other OTT is buying. ZEE5's two web series 'Kaun Banegi Shikharvati' and 'Bloody Brothers', which aired recently, saw a lot of dissatisfaction among its customers.
