Filmmaker vivek Agnihotri reacted sharply to reports of buying a new house. Filmmaker vivek Agnihotri has taken to his social media handle to refute reports that claimed he bought a luxurious apartment in mumbai worth Rs 17.90 crore after the success of his film 'The kashmir Files'. The film collected more than 300 crores at the box office.


The filmmaker shared a screenshot of the news on his twitter handle and wrote, "I am thankful to all the Congressmen, Aapiyas, and unemployed bollywood for building new apartments for me every day and furnishing them with luxury furniture. I loved the sofa from 10 Janpath."

Earlier there were several reports which stated that vivek along with his wife Pallavi Joshi had bought a luxurious apartment on the 30th floor of Parthenon Towers in Versova, with an area of over 3,258 sq ft with three car parking slots. Also, vivek recently hit headlines when Nadav Lapid, an Israeli filmmaker, made controversial remarks on his film 'The kashmir File' at the closing ceremony of IFFI Goa. He called it shocking, obscene as well as propaganda. Reacting to his comment, vivek shared a video on his social media handle, in which he said, "I challenge all these urban Naxals and the great filmmaker from Israel, that if they shoot a single shot, incident Or can prove the dialogue is not completely true, then I will quit filmmaking. Who are these people who stand against india every time?"

The film was released in early march this year and broke all box office records. Directed by vivek Agnihotri, the film also featured Anupam Kher, mithun Chakraborty, and Pallavi Joshi. The story of film revolves around the killings of Kashmiri Pandits from the valley in the year 1990. The film was well-received by the audience and critics in India.
