After a thirty-year break, Ulaganayagan kamal haasan and the renowned director Mani Ratnam have reunited. Their partnership, which is being dubbed "KH234," has created a lot of buzz in the business. Under the auspices of Raaj Kamal international Films and madras Talkies, kamal haasan, Mani Ratnam, R Mahendran, and Siva Ananthi will collaborate to create this much-awaited movie. red Giant Films is the distribution company for Udhayanidhi Stalin's film. The soundtrack will be composed by AR Rahman, while ravi K Chandran will handle the camera work. The editing will be done by Sreekar Prasad, while Anbariv will handle the stunt scenes.

While indian 2's filming is now over, Kamal has committed to three more major projects: Mani Ratnam's KH234, H Vinoth's KH233, and Nag Ashwin's kalki 2898AD.
