The SC/ST atrocities act has come as a boon to many and while it is a much needed law there are those who are misusing it for their own benefits. This is the allegation made by the Telugu Desam Party as they approached the Eluru range DIG Suryaprakash Rao in support of the Eluru MLA Chintamaneni Prabhakar.
Few days back, Chintamaneni had reportedly assaulted a police inspector who belongs to the SC Community and a case was filed against the MLA. Later, it was reported that he has gone ‘underground’ to evade arrest. But the TDP party has come to the rescue alleging this is a plot by the ruling party.
They have reportedly added that Chintamaneni has never indulged in any abuse or attack. With the Cooperative elections in the fray a lot of such attempts are being made by the ruling party to put the TDP members in difficult position. Chintamaneni has reportedly revealed that he is very much available in Denduluru constituency as part of his campaign.
