To get a holistic view of the earth, one has to watch the changes from above to notice the trends as the Earth warms and countries clamber to prevent more destruction. To assist and determine the type and distribution of important crops around the world, the satellite's freely available data are used. This data evaluate how agriculture is swelling or waning in remote locations, and control crop health and meadow, rangeland conditions, among other things.

The world's most powerful Earth observation satellite is launched today, Landsat-9 will sweep the globe every 99 minutes as revealed by NASA.The launch from the Vandenberg Space Force Base is expected to set for 2.12 p.m. EDT (11.42 p.m. IST). On Monday, nasa is expected to launch the Landsat-9, one of its most powerful and advanced satellites for Earth monitoring, aboard a United Launch Alliance rocket. For every 99 minutes, the satellite will encircle the globe 14 times, ending 14 orbits every day.

Landsat-9 will track major natural and economic resources from space and is the ninth satellite in the Landsat series. The satellite will be managed by NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center and will incorporate two key instruments: the Operational Land Imager 2 (OLI-2) and the Thermal Infrared Sensor 2 (TIRS-2)
