have started creating havoc. A joint party of BSF and district Force from Chhotebetiya police station in Kanker
district was going from Camp Marbeda to Renga Ghati Rengagondi polling station with 4 teams of the polling
team. Meanwhile, BSF constable was hit by a pressure IED near Rengagondi at around 4 pm. Chandraprakash
Seval and two employees of the polling team have been injured. Apart from this, an ITBP jawan has also been
injured while neutralizing the IED bomb.
Four people were hit by IED blast
A total of four people have been injured today after being hit by an IED bomb planted by Naxalites in
Murhappadar village of Narayanpur district. The injured are being treated in Chhotabethiya. According to the
information, now the situation there remains normal. Apart from this, the polling team and the team of soldiers
have safely reached Rengagondi polling station. It is noteworthy that voting has not even started yet and the
violence by Naxalites continues. This attack by Naxalites creates an atmosphere of fear among the general
public, due to which they shy away from voting in the elections. Naxalites call public fear their victory.
Naxalites had boycotted the elections
Let us tell you that tomorrow voting will be done in two slots on 12 assembly seats of Bastar division and all
these 12 seats fall in Naxal affected areas. Every election in Naxal affected areas of chhattisgarh is a
challenging task. It is noteworthy that, several days before the elections, Naxalites had put up leaflets to boycott
the elections in different areas of Bastar division. Naxalites boycott elections every time and harass in some way
or the other those who do not support them in this decision. Recently, many incidents of Naxalites activities
have come to light from Bastar division, in which they have killed everyone from common people to BJP
leaders.
