As per report tamilnadu chief minister Stalin has again urged prime minister Modi to provide interim relief to rectify the effects of heavy rains. The heavy rain caused by Cyclone Michung in the Bay of bengal has caused various damage. Life is gradually returning to normal in the capital Chennai. Heavy rains accompanied by cyclonic winds have caused extensive damage to infrastructure. Therefore, chief minister Stalin has written to prime minister Modi to immediately provide Rs.5060 crore as interim relief to tamil Nadu.


In this situation, chief minister Stalin has again urged prime minister Modi to provide interim relief to rectify the effects of heavy rains. Regarding this, he said on his X page, "In my recent letter regarding the devastation caused by Cyclone Michung, I have described in detail the severe damage caused in Chennai, Tiruvallur, kanchipuram and Chengalpattu. Our infrastructure has been hit hard and lakhs of people have been affected. Many are struggling with floodwaters.


I have asked for an interim relief of Rs 5060 crore for immediate rehabilitation efforts. Also, we are in the process of preparing a detailed report to assess the need for additional relief funds to ensure full recovery. Our people are facing unprecedented challenges. But I firmly believe that if we come together, we will emerge stronger from this calamity.”
