PM Modi said that all of you are getting a big opportunity to join the development journey of Uttarakhand. The
mind becomes blessed after coming here. A few years ago, when I had set out to visit baba Kedar, it suddenly
came out of my mouth that this third decade of the 21st century is the decade of Uttarakhand. I am happy to see
that statement continuously being fulfilled.
Special appeal regarding marriage
Making a special appeal, the PM said that like Make in India, a movement should be started like Wed in India,
get married in India. I would like to organize a destination wedding of my family in uttarakhand in the coming
five years. If even 5 thousand marriages start taking place here in a year, then a new infrastructure will be created
and the world's weddings will start taking place here. During this, cm Pushkar Singh Dhami said that a target of
Rs 2.5 lakh crore was set through this summit. But the government has signed more agreements than the target.
The investment made in uttarakhand is in safe hands. We assure you of this completely. Uttarakhand
government will not let any investor face any kind of problem. The objective of the uttarakhand government is
to provide employment to the students studying in uttarakhand here. They should not have to migrate outside.
Youth likely to get employment
The biggest objective of the Global university Summit going on in uttarakhand is to somehow stop the
migration from Uttarakhand. Global Investors Summit is likely to provide employment to about 60 to 70
thousand youth. The government had a target of investing Rs 2.5 lakh crore in Uttarakhand. It is expected that by
2024/25, more than 100 industries can be set up in Uttarakhand.
