The red Parade ground of the capital Bhopal was completely decorated and prepared for the swearing-in
ceremony of the new cm of Madhya Pradesh. At 11:30 am, ujjain South assembly MLA Mohan Yadav took oath
as the new cm of Madhya Pradesh. prime minister Narendra Modi also attended the oath ceremony, but the
surprising thing is that not a single poster of Madhya Pradesh's 'Laadli Brahmin Yojana', which played an
important role in this victory, has been put up at the venue of the meeting. The meeting place is covered with
posters of prime minister Narendra Modi's schemes. This neglect of Ladli Brahmin Yojana has become a reason
for discussion.
The ruling party bjp had to face defeat in the 2018 assembly elections. In the 2018 elections, congress had got
114 seats, while bjp had to be satisfied with only 109 seats. However, after one and a half years, due to the
defection of the then leader Jyotiraditya Scindia, congress had to lose power in the state and Shivraj Singh
Chouhan’s government came to power again in Madhya Pradesh. Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s government launched
the Laadli Brahmin Yojana in the state six months before the 2023 assembly elections. Under this scheme, eligible
women were to get one thousand rupees per month. Later, dear sisters started getting Rs 1250 under this scheme.
The result was that bjp was able to achieve a landslide victory in the recently concluded assembly elections.
