According to the Partition Act, telangana will get 8.245 acres and ap will get 11.536 acres. However, the officials explained that the buildings have reached a dilapidated state after nearly 40 years. Responding to this, cm revanth reddy ordered to prepare plans to construct a new building. chief minister revanth reddy suggested to focus first on the assets between the two states.
However, when the BRS government was in power, the center had many discussions on the division of ap Bhavan. On this occasion, the Union home Ministry proposed that the existing ap Bhavan should belong to ap and telangana should take the vacant space. 7.64 acres of Pataudi house should be given to Telangana. Sabari block, Godavari block, 12.9 acres of land with nursing hostels should be given to Andhra Pradesh. The center said that this division will be according to the population ratio between the two states. But while ap government agreed to this proposal, telangana said no. Currently, there is a possibility that the division of ap Bhavan will be completed in the background of revanth Reddy's aggression.
