Rajasthan government has made a big announcement for Sindhi community. Now financial assistance of 15 thousand rupees will be given for sindhu Darshan Yatra. The state government has announced to give financial assistance of Rs 15 thousand per person to the pilgrims going on Leh-Ladakh sindhu Darshan yatra, which is considered the biggest and holiest of the Sindhi community. In sindhu Darshan yatra, religious and cultural events are held in Leh-Ladakh for four days and this journey starts from june 18 and ends on june 30. In fact, assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani had recently requested chief minister Bhajan Lal Sharma that the pilgrims going on sindhu Darshan yatra should also be given financial assistance like other pilgrimages.
How is the journey?
According to the information, pilgrims of Sindhi community go on sindhu Darshan yatra in Leh-Ladakh every year from 23 to 26 June. This yatra starts from Jammu and Kurukshetra on 18 june and ends on 30 June. Taking a decision on this, the state government has announced financial assistance of Rs 15,000 per pilgrim.
Advani started it
Actually, in the year 1997, former Deputy prime minister Lal krishna Advani started the sindhu Darshan Yatra. Every year this yatra is organized in Leh-Ladakh from 23 to 26 June. A large number of Sindhi followers participate in it. sindhu river is mentioned in all the scriptures. Along with this, sindhu river is also mentioned in the indian national anthem. In the Sindhi society too, the incarnation of Isht Dev Shrijhulelal is related to water. In such a situation, this yatra is considered very sacred for the Sindhi followers. Every year, Sindhi followers from about 25 states of the country go on this holy yatra. This journey starts from Jammu and Kurukshetra and lasts for about 12 days.
