Foreign smuggler arrested with banned drugs on stolen scooty!
The Special Staff of Central district of delhi police has arrested a foreign smuggler on the basis of secret information. The police had received a secret information that a foreigner, who is involved in smuggling of cocaine, is going to pass through patel nagar Road on a white Activa scooty. As soon as the information was received, a team was prepared under the leadership of Inspector Rohit Kumar. A precise trap was laid between Metro pillar number 166 to 169. Then a white scooty was seen coming from a distance. As soon as he was signaled to stop, the scooty rider tried to run away but the police was already prepared. He was caught within a few moments.
When he was searched, four polythene wrapped packets were found from him, from which banned cocaine was recovered. Investigation revealed that the scooty was also stolen, the report of which was registered in Rajouri Garden police station in june 2024. The arrested accused was identified as Eric, age 33, a native of Lagos State, Nigeria. He was delivering drugs on the streets of delhi, and his network had now come under the police radar.
One arrest, two cases solved
A case was registered under the NDPS Act at Ranjit nagar police station and Eric was arrested. Along with this, the police also solved an old motor vehicle theft case.
Important police investigation continues
Now the police is trying to find out which gang Eric was associated with, and where his network is spread in Delhi. This one arrest broke the drug supply chain. The police is investigating the case from every angle.
