The minister of State was holding a meeting of district level officers in the ATMA auditorium on friday (May 16). During the meeting, when he sought information related to the approval of leave of doctors, it came to light that the Chief Medical Officer (PMO) was also absent in the meeting.
On this, Chief Medical and health Officer (CMHO) Dr. Dinesh Kharari said that action has been taken by the PMO in the related matter and the necessary documents have been sent to the higher authorities.
Still the doctors did not return to work
It is noteworthy that in view of the Indo-Pak tension, the medical department had issued orders to stay in alert mode by banning the leave of all employees. Despite this, six doctors who have been absent from the district hospital for a long time have not returned to work yet. The Chief Medical Officer said that a report has been sent to the department against them.
Orders for investigation by medical board
PMO Dr. Virendra mahatma said that Dr. dhanraj Chaudhary is on a 15-day medical leave from May 2. At the same time, Dr. pradeep Chauhan and Dr. usha Chauhan were already on leave, but despite the leave being cancelled in view of the emergency situation, they took a 22-day medical leave from May 6. Orders have been issued to constitute a medical board to investigate the leave of these doctors.
