The aam aadmi party has made a sharp comment on the bulldozer action to remove encroachment in Delhi's Wazirpur Industrial Area. In protest against this action, aam aadmi party (AAP) delhi State President Saurabh Bhardwaj has targeted the bjp government sitting at the Center.
Bhardwaj wrote on the social media platform 'X' on sunday (June 2), "Today the bjp government has reached Wazirpur Industrial Area to destroy the roofs of the poor with a bulldozer. Yesterday about 800 slums were demolished in Madrasi Camp."
Bulldozer action continues after the order of delhi High Court
It is worth noting that the delhi High court had ordered that all encroachments around the drains should be removed before the monsoon, so that the problem of waterlogging and cleanliness can be prevented.
Under this order, bulldozer action was also taken in Jangpura area recently, in which many illegal constructions were demolished. According to reports, after the court's order, it has been decided to remove more than 300 slums. During this action, paramilitary forces were also deployed to maintain law and order.
According to government officials, the encroachment removal campaign is being run under the court's instructions and its aim is to make delhi safe and clean. However, this campaign is affecting thousands of people living in slums. These families have come on the road without any alternative arrangement. In such a situation, Saurabh Bhardwaj's statement is not only an opposition reaction, but has also become the voice of those who have been forced to suddenly be displaced.
