On saturday (07 June, 2025), chief minister Nitish Kumar expressed deep condolences on the martyrdom of army Havildar sunil kumar singh of Buxar district of bihar, who was injured during 'Operation Sindoor' in Jammu and Kashmir. He has said that the country will always remember his martyrdom. He is very saddened by this incident.

On the martyrdom of the brave son, the chief minister has prayed to god to give strength to his family to bear patience in this hour of grief. The chief minister has said that the nearest dependent of martyred Havildar sunil kumar singh will be given the estimated honorarium by the state government. Also, the last rites of martyred Havildar sunil kumar singh will be performed with police honors by the state government.

Let us tell you that martyr sunil Kumar was a resident of Narbatpur village of Chausa block of Buxar district. His parents are retired teachers. Younger brother Chandan is also in the army. sunil has left behind his wife and two sons. One is 15 years old and the other is 12 years old. The family is in grief since the incident. sunil Kumar was posted in Rajouri sector of Jammu and Kashmir. He was seriously injured in a drone attack by pakistan during 'Operation Sindoor' on the night of 9 May.

Tejashwi expressed grief over the martyrdom of a son of Saran

On the other hand, today (Saturday) Tejashwi Yadav posted on instagram and expressed grief over the martyrdom of a son of Saran. Wrote, "The soil of bihar has offered one more brave son to the feet of Mother india for the protection of the country. Shri Devkishore Shah, a brave soldier of bihar Regiment, resident of Baniyapur block of saran district, attained martyrdom by sacrificing his life for the country. The country will never forget the valor, sacrifice and dedication of this true son of Mother India. May god grant peace to the departed soul and give strength to the bereaved family of the brave martyr to bear the pain. jai Hind! jai Bharat! jai Bihar!"
