The most publicised bandh, which called for the cancellation of filming, was unsuccessful on the first day. Nearly 18–20 films kept shooting without encountering any obstacles. The irony is that naga Vamshi's "Sir" and dil Raju's "Varasudu" both continued to film. These two producers are the guild's president and a major player, respectively. However, they played dumb by claiming that both movies are being made in tamil with plans to dubbed into telugu, therefore they are exempt from any strikes.

This caused a commotion within the Guild itself. The other members objected to dil raju and naga Vamshi's logic. On the other side, The Federation claimed that it had not heard from the Chamber on the cancellation of the shoots. Overall, the shootings won't be postponed. The film industry is based on the tenets of "Might is Right" and "Survival of the Fittest."

The telugu cinema chamber of commerce on sunday supported the Active telugu Film Producers' Guild's appeal. "We have unanimously decided to put a stop to filming for an indefinite period while we search for a solution to the telugu film industry's problems. On the sets of both new and ongoing movies, there won't be any shooting, according to movie producer and distributor dil Raju. He claimed that the Covid-19 outbreak had caused the film business to enter a state of crisis. "We'll get together, talk about the difficulties, and come up with a solution. We all agree on this," Raju remarked.
