It is well known that a recent Deepfake video of rashmika mandanna caused massive outrage on social media. Rashmika's face gets altered into a bold video that originally featured another lady. The Women's Commission filed a complaint against the video with the delhi police last year, and now there is affirmative action on this front.
The delhi Cyber police DCP said that a South indian guy accused of producing and disseminating this video had been detained. However, the identity of the perpetrator was kept hidden from the media. However, multiple reports on social media indicate that an andhra pradesh citizen has been identified as the perpetrator of the crime and has been apprehended.

According to reports, an ap guy has been detained in connection with this crime and is currently facing prosecution. More information will be available soon. Back then, there was a large campaign in the film community pushing the government to stop the proliferation of deepfake movies on social media.

Rashmika Mandanna, who was most impacted by the tragedy, came to instagram to offer an update on the case's development. In her Story, she expressed emotional thanks to the delhi police for apprehending the perpetrators, as well as genuine thankfulness for a community that loves, supports, and shields her. She warned girls and boys that unauthorised use or morphing of their photos is unacceptable, and she hoped it would serve as a reminder that they are surrounded by supportive individuals who are ready to intervene.
