Hyderabad has traditionally been referred to as "Bhagyanagar," according to Kompella madhavi Latha, a bjp candidate running from the hyderabad seat in the next legislative assembly elections. "If hyderabad is renamed Bhagyanagar, nothing can go wrong," she stated in a news 18 interview.

Latha appealed to the people of hyderabad to give her a chance, saying, “Kabhi toh mauka dijiye… (Give us a chance too).”

Declaring that she will make a mark in a seat where Muslim voters make the majority of decisions, the bjp candidate openly challenged Asaduddin Owaisi, the four-time member of parliament from Hyderabad.

She said, referring to Owaisi, “Bhaiya ab bhaari humari hai. 40 saal de diya (Brother, it is our turn now. We gave you 40 years.”

In response to the question of how her faith in Sanatan would help her win support in a district where Muslims make up the majority of voters, she said, "Sanatan dharma tells us to understand people's pain without discrimination." dharma combats unfairness. In my opinion, there is no distinction between Muslims and Hindus when it comes to resolving their suffering. Justice is needed for Muslims.

"I have been working with Pasmanda Muslims, women, and orphans. I'm not considered an outsider," she asserted.

The respondent also questioned if, contrary to Owaisi's statements, the bjp has always prioritized storylines involving the Rohingyas, surgical strikes, and the destruction of masjids.

"When you talk about Rohingya Muslims, they don't belong in this country," the speaker stated. Why should they have the same rights as we Muslims? Do you believe that Muslims in other nations enjoy equal rights? They don't. We have nothing against Muslims. By opposing those who have been utilizing them as a voting bank, we hope to elevate them.
