The biggest budgeted movie of the hero nani and producer Sudhakar Cherukuri's respective careers is Dasara. There are rumors that the movie cost the producer a whopping 70+ crores, which includes the cost of making the first copy as well as promotion and other expenses. As his earlier films didn't even reach 40 crores, this is the highest-grossing project nani has ever had.

And in order to recoup this entire cost, the filmmakers have heavily spent on marketing, employing some of the best strategies to make the movie popular in the north. This involves nani traveling to various cities, such as Ahmedabad, Lucknow, and New Delhi, to promote Dasara. He has given lengthy media interviews and made sure to show the movie to the public, even in Telugu-speaking regions.

To recap: the director had long since sold the telugu state rights of the movie to a third party for 24 crores, and dil raju eventually acquired them for 33+ crores. The producer's coffers won't gain anything from the movie's success, whether it underperforms or overperforms. The creators are said to have recouped the entire budget without making sizable profits by selling the release rights for other regions, wallet PLATFORM' target='_blank' title='digital-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW'>digital streaming rights, and satellite rights.

The problem is that the filmmakers independently distributed the movie in bollywood for less than 5 crores. The only money the movie will make from the hindi box office will be a bonus if it performs well there, a la pushpa or Kantara.
