On May 14, 2023, just a day before their 9th wedding anniversary, amrita rao and her husband RJ Anmol shared this vlog on their YouTube channel 'Couple of Things, in which they talked about their low-budget wedding. At the beginning of the video, he was seen going on a trip from mumbai to pune city. Both of them had a secret wedding nine years ago in the presence of their close people at the iskcon temple in Katraj, Pune.
In Anmol and Amrita's anniversary special vlog, the actress stood in front of the Orchid Hotel and started detailing the expenses of their wedding. The actress told that she had booked a total of 8 rooms in the hotel, which cost Rs 64,000 with a music hall of Rs 21,000 and a sumptuous dinner of Rs 6,500.

Later, amrita and Anmol also revealed their wedding outfits. Anmol revealed that her wedding dress was a gift from her maternal aunt, which she brought from kerala and cost Rs.3000. Whereas, his bride amrita wore a traditional saree worth Rs 3000 on her wedding day. Talking about her mangalsutra, she told that the cost of her mangalsutra was only Rs 18,000. Whereas, the rest of her jewelry was artificial as she did not have time for shopping.

The priest there also revealed that the cost of the wedding venue then was just Rs 11,000 and the hall has been closed since their marriage. We wanted our wedding to be a beautiful, private ceremony with only our families and close friends and we are glad that we did. We were able to achieve this without spending much."
Whereas, Anmol said that his marriage with amrita reflects his personality. In all, Rs 1,26,500 lakh was spent on his wedding. To this, Anmol said, "Our wedding was a reflection of our personalities, which we wanted to keep very simple. We would be happy if this inspires people to have a budget-friendly wedding."
