Telugu film industry which is going great guns in 2021 pushing aside the pandemic impact came to a screeching halt in April. naga Chaitanya's love story which was supposed to release on april 16th was postponed at the last minute due to the COVID impact. That leaves space at the box office in the usually busy summer. As many as half a dozen small and unknown films are trying to fill the gap. ram Gopal Varma's 'RGV Deyyam' has become the biggest film of this week releases. The movie stars Rajasekhar and swathi Deekshit in the lead roles.

The movie is going to release in five languages now - telugu, tamil, malayalam, hindi, and Kannada. Rajasekhar will be seen completely without makeup in the movie while swathi Deekshit plays his daughter.

The Senior actor will be seen as the father of a teenage girl in the film which makes it more suitable to his age. On the other side, Rajasekhar currently has three films in the pipeline and three of them are of different genres encouraging young talent. Looks like he is making interesting choices at the fag end of his career.
