Trisha, the slender waist beauty who had been ruling the south film industry for more than 15 years, has been now filled with joy and excitement as she had recently added one more prestigious film to her kitty of a long list of films like Garjanai, 96, etc as she has been roped in to play the female lead in Mani Ratnam's epic movie 'Ponniyin Selvan'. She will be essaying the role of a princess in the movie.


The actress is currently aloof at her home due to the second wave of Corona Pandemic. She was last seen in the movie 'Paramapadham Vilayaatu' which was directed by debutant Thiru Gnanam, the movie will have her playing a mother of a child and a doctor, and it has been said that the actress has undergone special martial arts training for her role in the movie. But the movie was a huge disaster.


Now, Trisha's next movie is also likely to get an OTT release just like her previous movie 'Paramapatham Vilayaatu'. Her next movie 'Garjanai' which is the official remake of anushka Sharma's 'NH4' will be getting a direct OTT release. If reports are to be trusted, the movie will be released directly on amazon Prime Video or Disney Plus Hotstar. Official confirmation is awaited in this regard.
