1.  5 Lakh mosquito nets to prevent diseases in tribal areas:  Health minister C Laxma Reddy on Wednesday directed Telangana State Medical Services Infrastructure Development Corporation (TSMSIDC) to distribute five lakh mosquito nets in the agency areas to prevent spread of communicable diseases in the upcoming rainy season.
2.  Amit Shah's lunch fuels KCR-BJP war of words :  Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao and the BJP were locked in a bitter war of words on Wednesday over the alleged lunch that Amit Shah had with a Dalit family in Teretpally in Nalgonda, that was actually prepared by a member of the forward Reddy community.
3.  Catching up over cricket :  Captain of Indian Women's cricketteam, Mithali Raj and former Indian cricketer Venkatapathy Rajuwere the chief guests at this afternoon soiree. Conversations about cricket and the incessant summer heat in the city ensued as mana socialites bonded with the chief guests and had a gala time clicking selfies and bonding.
4.  CM's remarks have lowered his political stature, says BJP :  Strongly reacting to chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao's outburst on Bharatiya Janata Party national president Amit Shah, the Telangana BJP said the chief minister's comment has lowered his political stature and termed it as juvenile and unwarranted.
5.  TRS to finalise support in President polls on May 27 : " My party will discuss and finalise its stand on whom to support in the President's election at the meeting on May 27. I have great respect for Prime Minister Narendra Modi. However, at this juncture, I will not announce my party's support to the NDA candidate as I am 'deeply pained' by Amit Shah's comments," KCR said at a press conference here.

7.  100 candidates may take T-ECET afresh :  The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) will soon reconduct the Telangana State Engineering Common Entrance Test (T-ECET) following huge protests over some technical problems in the exam conducted recently.
8.  Mutilated victim identified, police hunt for accused :  Nearly two weeks after unravelling the murder of a man, whose body parts were mutilated and sealed inside a wall at a one-room tenement at Chintal, police are still looking for the elusive Jha brothers.
9.  Telangana CM tells walkers to 'parade' on the ground :  Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao's announcement clarifying that the Secretariat will not come up at the Parade Grounds in Secunderabad has brought relief to many who have been rallying to protect the lung space.
10.   Am here not to scare or defeat anyone: Amit Shah :  
  Toning down his aggressive criticism of the Telangana government that drew sharp reactions from chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, BJP national president Amit Shah on Wednesday said his three-day visit to the state was not aimed at scaring or defeating anybody but to expand his party's base.
Andhra Pradesh
1.  TS govt. asked to fulfil promises :  The Telugu Desam Party Telangana State unit has demanded that the Telangana Rashtra Samiti government implement the promises it made before the elections like construction of double bedroom houses to poor and providing remunerative prices to agricultural produce.
2.  Jagan, Roja warned against speaking ill of Naidu :  A.P. Housing Corporation chairman Varla Ramaiah has lambasted Opposition leader Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy for alleging complicity of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister K.E. Krishnamurthy in the murder of YSR Congress leader Cherukulapadu Narayana Reddy.
3.  12 held in murder of Narayana Reddy, aide :  The Dhone police arrested 12 persons accused in the murder of YSR Congress Pathikonda constituency incharge Cherukulapadu Narayana Reddy and party activist Boya Sambasivudu and recovered tractors and hunting sickles used by them, Kurnool Range DIG B.V. Ramana Kumar said.
4.  Bring back migrated labourers: CPI :  The State government should take steps to bring back the labourer families which migrated from Rayalaseema to other States and provide them work, CPI State secretary K. Ramakrishna demanded.

9.  Jagan for New Zealand today :  YSR Congress president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy is leaving for a fortnight-long holiday to New Zealand with family members on Thursday night.
10.  Cong. lodges complaint against Amit Shah :  Congress leaders lodged a cheating complaint against Bharatiya Janata Party national president Amit Shah at the Governorpet Police Station here on Wednesday. They demanded that Mr. Shah be arrested.
