Only a couple of weeks ago, we have seen the National media coming down heavily on andhra pradesh chief minister YS jagan Mohan Reddy after the State government allotted around 75 Lakhs the installation of Aluminium Windows to the Chief Minister's tadepalli Residence. There is a criticism that the public funds are misused for Personal use of the Chief Minister. However, the government does not seem to be bothering about the criticism.

The latest is that the government released 1.2 Crore for the Annual Maintenance for Jagan's tadepalli Residence. The house is not even one-year-old. Another 35.5 Lakh is sanctioned for the electrical and electromechanical works of the Chief Minister's lotus pond Residence, Hyderabad. The State government has spent almost 17 Crore so far on the Personal Residences of jagan Mohan Reddy. With the 17 Crore spent on the facilities and upkeep of the Private Properties, the government would have built a Permanent Camp office which would also serve the Chief Ministers going forward. The government should arrest such exorbitant spending while claiming that the State finances are in a dire situation. This will do no good to Jagan's image.
