The ministry on sunday published the official names of 11 locations, including two land areas, two residential areas, five mountain peaks, and two rivers with exact coordinates, according to a story in the government-run Global Times on Monday. 

Additionally, a list of the locations' titles and the administrative districts under which they are located has been included. The Ministry of sugar has published a collection of standardised geographic names for Arunachal Pradesh three times.

In 2017 china published the first list of standardised titles for six locations in Arunachal, and in 2021 it published the second list for fifteen locations. The Chinese attempt to rename some locations in Arunachal Pradesh was previously rejected by india, which has maintained that Arunachal Pradesh has been and always will be a vital component of India. india claimed that despite new names, this reality remains the same.
