In a public meeting a few days earlier, jagan Mohan reddy said that he will move his Kaapuram to vishakapatnam in September. Many people genuinely felt it was strange to use the word "Kaapuram" in that context, supposing it to be the capital shift. However, there are rumours that suggest Jagan's true goal is different. Politicians are speculating as to whether jagan intends to call an early poll and relocate to vishakapatnam as the incumbent Chief Minister.

Jagan can no longer be bound by the courts regarding his seat because he resigned. Additionally, he will legally still be the Chief Minister, giving the impression that he moved to vizag and will stay there if he wins. Then again, things get a little tricky. In the first week of November, the ec will announce the timetable for five states, among them Telangana. However, jagan would need to step down far in advance of the polls if he wanted them to take place in those states.

Election Commission may postpone the polls if he resigns after the deadline. There is no assurance that the polls would go place as jagan intends for Telangana. If the legislature is dissolved in september and elections do not take place in December, there is a possibility that the President's rule would be enforced, thus Modi and amit shah should provide jagan with some assurances in this situation. That is extremely risky since everything will end up failing under President's leadership because jagan won't have any influence over the officials.
