Mission 2024: bjp is slowly trying to fill seats…

tamil Nadu has a total of 39 lok sabha seats. After the departure of Jayalalithaa, there is a big vacuum in the opposition camp, which the bjp is slowly trying to fill.
Virudhunagar- bjp is also eyeing the Virudhunagar seat in tamil Nadu. In 2019, Manickam Tagore of INC had won from here. This seat also came into existence for the first time in 2009. In 2019, DMDK got this seat from nda quota.The DMDK candidate got 29 percent votes. Virudhunagar is a Dalit dominated seat and the population of Dalits here is more than 30 percent. The famous sivakasi is also within this Lok Sabha. Recently bjp started tamil Sangamam from Kashi.
Kanyakumari- Kanyakumari located in tamil Nadu has historical importance. In 2014, bjp had also won this seat. However, in 2019 the party had to face defeat. Congress's H Vasanthkumar defeated BJP's P Radhakrishnan by more than 2.5 lakh votes.Vasanthukmar passed away in 2021. The congress fielded his son vijayakumar in the by-election. Only P Radhakrishnan from bjp entered the fray. This time also Radhakrishnan had to face defeat. However, it got 4 percent more votes as compared to 2019.This time bjp is preparing to contest elections strongly here. congress is also trying to change the atmosphere here this time. There is talk of rahul gandhi contesting from here on behalf of the Congress.
Thoothukudi- TheBharatiya Janata party is also eyeing the ThoothukudiLok Sabha seat. Stalin's sister kanimozhi is the mp from here. By fighting from here, bjp wants to give a psychological message to the public to fight the stalin family. The party has recently appointed the district in-charge for this seat.In the 2019 elections, bjp got 21 percent votes in this seat. The party feels that this time the equation can be turned upside down by fighting strongly here.
